Hello, Homeschooling Families!
I am thrilled to finally be able to announce our next Homeschool Series, ROBOTICS! Join other homeschooling 5th-12th graders to build a LEGO Mindstorm EV3 robot and learn to program sequential designated tasks and challenges! This program is free, but registration and A COMMITMENT TO ALL FOUR SESSIONS IS REQUIRED. All sessions will be held at our NORTH DEARBORN BRANCH library and be taught by Liz Beiersdorfer, 4-H Youth Development Educator, Dearborn County. Program Dates: Fridays ~ February 15 & 22 and March 1 & 8 from 1-3, with the library being open 30 minutes before and after the program. Registration is open at https://www.lpld.lib.in.us/you include your email address for program confirmation. While you're there, take a look at all our teen and tween January programs: two book clubs, a cooking class, a spy school escape room for 5th-8th graders, and an in-depth tour of Ivy Tech's state-of-the-art science and healthcare facilities for high schoolers.
